The Brisbane international airport terminal is the most likely entry point for Gold Coast visitors arriving from overseas. Domestic travellers will disembark at either Brisbane or the Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta.

Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar are the domestic airline carriers. The flight time from Sydney is 1 hour to the Gold Coast and its approximately 2 hours from Melbourne.

It's an easy drive from the Brisbane airport terminals on the Pacific Motorway to Artique Resort, and travel time is approximately 1 hour. It's approximately 20 - 25 minutes travel time by road from the airport at Coolangatta to central Surfers Paradise.

Several options are available for transfers** between the Brisbane and Gold Coast airports:

1) The Gold Coast and the Brisbane airport terminals are linked via an Airtrain service. Travel time is approximately 1h 15m. There is an option for a limo service that provides train-to-door transfers. Transfers from the Airtrain stations can also be done with taxi cabs.

2) Taxi cabs are also available from ranks at Coolangatta airport. Maxi cabs are available for larger groups and should be pre-booked. Phone 131 008 for taxi bookings or visit the taxi company website for more information.

3) There are several motor coach companies and limousine operators that provide airport transfers to and from both Coolangatta and Brisbane airports.

4) Gold Coast visitors intending to use a rental car for their holiday can arrange a pick-up and return at the airport, thereby saving the cost of transfers. Artique Resort can assist with all motor car hire bookings.
